Good afternoon all,

 

I am happy to inform you that next week you should receive a delivery of
N95 masks to begin the fit testing procedure.  These msks are to be used
to support Fit testing of EMS providers throughout your regions.  If you
do not plan on conducting fit testing, please contact your neighboring
regions to see if they have need for the N95s.

 

Also, VDH will be hosting Fit Test Train-the-Trainers (to train people
to conduct fit testing) in each Health District.  Once the information
is available I will be sending it to the regions for advertisement, as
EMS providers are welcomed to attend the trainings.
