NATIONAL EMS MEMORIAL SERVICE RETURNS TO VIRGINIA

The 2015 Service was held on June 27th in Colorado Springs, Colorado and 15 individuals were honored that died in the line of duty.

The Service is moving back to the east coast as part of our plan to find a permanent home for a National EMS Memorial (and for the service).  The NEMSMS board is seriously looking at the Washington, DC area for land for the permanent memorial and probably the Northern Virginia area for the service.  The board believes it is fitting that such a memorial should take its place among the other hallowed locations surrounding our nation's capital.

On July 14, an exhibit of all of the Memorial Service artifacts will be on display at Roanoke Fire Station No. 1, located at 704 Franklin Road, from 4:00 - 6:00 PM. Everyone is invited to stop by! CENTRAL SHENANDOAH EMS COUNCIL TO OFFER FULL ALS RECERT PROGRAM
Please visit http://recert.csems.org  for information! This will be a full 48-hour NR program, plus AHA recertification in Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS and PALS.
