[Temslist] Tidewater EMS Awards Nomination Deadline Extended until June 23

As of today (the original deadline of Monday June 16) we have received
about 20 regional EMS award nominations, which isn't bad, but we need
more. Many categories have just one nomination. Because of the below
mentioned website glitch last week and because of the need to gather
more nominations, we are extending the deadline for one additional week.
The new extended deadline is Monday June 23. Please take advantage of
these extra days to nominate a deserving individual or agency for one of
10 award categories or the high school senior scholarship. Thank you
very much. Go to www.tidewaterems.org and click 2008 Awards.  We truly
thank all those who worked to submit a nomination by the original
deadline...and if you would like to add supporting information or
otherwise improve your submission, this is an opportunity.

Please be reminded that the deadline for TEMS award nominations is
Monday June 16. Please take a few minutes to recognize those deserving
of a regional award. Visit www.tidewaterems.org and click 2008 Awards
for a choice of an online submission or to download a paper form.
 
The below information relates to a technical problem we experienced with
the online award nomination which has been corrected. If someone
submitted a nomination online and the submission resulted in a blank
screen and no confirmation, then it needs to be resubmitted. This would
happen only if a required field was not filled in. This should have
resulted in a warning to fill in the field. Instead, the submission
would have failed. It has been fixed. If you have a question about
whether a nomination was received by our office, please call or email
David at the contact info below. We apologize if anyone was impacted by
this.
