Deadline for Tidewater regional EMS Award Nominations is June 15, 4:30
pm. Please take a few moments to nominate a deserving individual or
agency in one of 11 award categories:

ICS 300, ICS 400, Mass Casualty Incident Management, Incident Response
to Terrorist Bombing courses and more available through the Hampton
Roads MMRS training program. No-cost courses open to all responders,
public safety and healthcare providers (consult organizational
leadership concerning ICS300/400 requirements).  Schedules, more

9th edition of the Tidewater Regional Medical Protocols is posted on the
web and being distributed. Regional rollout classes have been scheduled.

Emergency preparedness seminars for various health care organizations
are set for June 4 and 5 (home health, assisted living, nursing homes,
adult daycare, etc). Spread the word to facilities in your area. Help
these facilities become disaster self-sufficient. More information and

The TEMS website will undergo a comprehensive "remake" during the next
few months. We are converting to a content management system (CMS)
website along with all of the other regional EMS councils in Virginia.
Our homepage website address will be the same, but addresses for pages
within the site may change. Once the change is made, "book marks" or
"favorites" that you may have saved for pages within our site may not
work but you will always be able to access our rich content from home
page links or by a quick site search. We will notify our EMS community
when the conversion to the new CMS system takes place. We hope you will
like the new look and functionality.
