[Temslist] EMS for Children opportunity

The Eastern Virginia Medical School, Dept of Pediatrics, Division of
Behaviorial Research and Community Health is undertaking a number of
initiatives aimed at improving medical care, including EMS, for
children. Currently, they are looking at reductions in ED utilization by
trying to improve pediatric care and office hours at urgent care
facilities. This is a program called Right Time, Right Place. They have
other injury prevention projects and other research underway that weave
into the EMS world and would benefit from EMS involvement. They have
offered positions on the Right Time Right Place project as well as their
injury prevention work group. If you would like to get more involved
with some high-level pediatric research and community initiatives,
please let me know and I'll connect you to the right people at EVMS.
