On September 27-28th the fourth annual Virginia Interoperable
Communications Conference (VICC) will be held in Roanoke, Virginia.  If
you have not already done so please forward this email out to your
organization and encourage your members to attend.  Attendees can visit
our website at http://www.interoperability.virginia.gov/ to use our
online conference registration and make hotel reservations.  The
conference will be held at The Hotel Roanoke & Conference Center. Hotel
accommodations are now available by calling (540) 985-5900 or
(866)594-4722. The rate is $114.00 per night, plus tax. Please be sure
to contact the hotel by Wednesday, August 29 and mention your attendance
at the VICC in order to obtain this special conference rate.

We hope to once again have around 300 attendees and many companies
exhibiting the latest communication technologies at the VICC.  We are
currently finalizing the conference agenda but a few of the topics that
will be discussed include:

*       $25 million PSIC Interoperability Grants for Virginia
*       Statewide Interoperability Baseline Survey results
*       Review Statewide Plan
*       New Strategic Radio Caches
