To ALL-
I wanted to personally relay my appreciation for the efforts
of all the members of the PEMS Council, providers, administrators and
elected officials for their efforts regarding the redistricting
proposal. I wasn't sure if it was voiced on this level, but I felt
compelled, and have so for quite some time, to thank everyone involved
in the process thus far. I congratulate those that became the leaders
and those that became the followers for the cause. You can't have one
without the other and it's obvious that many hearts were ablaze with
their passion for OUR Council. I believe the fight was based on all the
right reasons; the very reasons stated and overlooked or ignored in the
research.
The PEMS Council IS a powerhouse in the communities we serve
because everyone in involved does such a fantastic job. Simply stated,
it's obvious everyone cares about their profession and the customers we
serve. With the great possibility of forgetting someone who was
instrumental in the campaign, I will refrain from mentioning names. But
you all know who you are and should be proud of the efforts you put
forth. These things take a village. The campaign is far from over, but
regardless of the outcome in the future, I felt it necessary to
recognize the hard work, dedication and personal touches each of you
have provided. Robert Greenleaf once said that "Good leaders must first
become good servants," and proof of that has already shown in your
actions. Thank you.
