The PEMS CISM Team is still here...and will remain here!



In a special called meeting on January 15, 2008, members of the PEMS
CISM Team met to discuss the situation concerning the proposed
redistricting of the regional councils. I have already heard form one
source that the team no longer exists and that, I am sure, is only ONE
of the rumors flying around. 

 

The overwhelming attitude of the team members present is that "I will go
where I am needed and where I am sent." Changes, current or anticipated,
will not affect our team's response to your needs. The team contact
number remains
757-220-4356 and is provided as a free service by a paging company out
of Williamsburg. It will not change in the foreseeable future. 

 

Team members are taking it upon themselves to write to their
congressional representatives advising caution should this proposal make
it their way for review. I assure you, from the PEMS perspective and I
am sure from regions all across the state where existing boundaries are
threatened, that we are going to do everything within our means to make
sure the EMS provider and the system are taken care of.
