[PEMS List] Process Action Team (PAT) Update

There is a correction on the start time for the PAT meeting. The meeting
will begin at 08:30am.

Reminder 

 

The next scheduled meeting of the PAT is on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at
the Embassy Suites in Hampton, VA starting at 09:00 am. This committee
has taken charge of "evaluating the existing designated regional service
areas" seriously and has stated they will be examining regional council
system as whole. Therefore, I encourage you to attend this public
meeting so you can understand the hard work being put forth by this
group. Also, at the end of every meeting there is period for public
comment.

The goals for the PAT at this upcoming meeting will be to focused on
looking at the regional council contract and determining if the scope of
services and deliverables currently included are consistent with where
the system needs to be now and where the system needs to be in the
future. This will be done by considering many variables that include,
but are not limited to, best practices, types of services delivered,
demographics of the system, and identified needs of the system.
