[PEMS List] 2007 Protocol Rollout announcement!

PEMS Regional Providers,

 

The Council is planning a 2007 Protocol Changes Rollout beginning
October 1, 2007 with an implementation date of November 1, 2007. The
Council Staff will be conducting in-person rollouts scheduled as
follows:

 

*	October 2 at the Tappahannock VRS Building
*	October 3 at the PEMS Office in Gloucester
*	October 4 at the Kilmarnock VRS Building  

 

These sessions will begin at 7pm and last 2.5 hours with category 1 CE
credits assigned for ALS and BLS providers. 

 

ALS Coordinators in the region may announce future rollouts in their own
agencies and upon seeking course approval through OEMS, a specific topic
number assigned to the PEMS protocol rollout will be made available.
Each coordinator will be given a unique course number and will be
responsible directly for this training.  

Providers may review the 2007 Protocol Rollout CD individually, but no
CE credit will be awarded. 

 

It is imperative that all rollouts be completed by the end of October in
order to allow universal application of the protocols by November 1,
2007.
