[ES-Fire-EMS] Education/Training Committee Meeting

COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED ~ EDUCATION/TRAINING COMMITTEE

The Eastern Shore EMS Council is establishing/re-establishing an Education/Training Committee to work towards addressing several issues surrounding the planning and delivery of basic and continuing education courses on the Eastern Shore.  The committee's primary focus will be in the following areas:

(1) Establishing funding criteria for courses funded by the ESEMSC
(2) Development of an annual training plan to aid in logisitical/budgetary planning of courses on an annual basis
(3) Consideration of policies for EMT-B registration (deposit/fees for textbooks, etc)
(4) Other topics as deemed necessary

I am asking any interested EMT-Instructor, ALS Coordinator, Practical Instructor, or other providers or agency representatives who are willing to serve on this committee to contact me ASAP (prior to June 18th). A chairperson will be appointed once a list of interested parties has been reviewed.  This committee will function as a committee of the EMS Council and will report its progress at each Council meeting.  

FIRST MEETING ~ WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23rd, 1700 Hours as part of the EMS Instructor Networking Meeting

Contact me ASAP with your interest.....we have alot of work to do, but if we also pitch in, we can assure that our training programs remain strong for years to come..........
