EMT Basic Class in Wachapreague

Hello All, the class is on schedule to begin with a CPR class for those who need it on Aug. 2, all classes will start at 1830 in the upstairs meeting room of Wachapreague fire station. The first night of the actual class is Tuesday Aug. 7. Classes will run every Tuesday and Thursday after that except Holidays. THERE MAY BE SUNDAY CLASSES IF NEEDED. These will be scheduled as required.  Students will get a schedule the first night of class. 

The pre-requisites for attending this class are:

1. Must be at least 16 years old the first night of class. Sorry, no exceptions. 
2. Must have a valid recognized CPR card at the rescuer level. Note, community level adult-only CPR classes are not acceptable. CPR principles are a major part of the EMT Basic curriculum. Students will be assumed to know and understand them on the first day of class.
3. No felony convictions for at least five years with final release completed. No sex crime convictions for life. The state will do background checks on all students.
