Tis' the season for training on the Island!
  The Town of Chincoteague EMS in conjunction with the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company are pleased to offer the following EMS training opportunities!
   
  BLS Continuing Education
   
  Infants & Children (2.0-Area 08)
  Hands-On (1.0-Cat 2)
   
  Monday, December 3rd, 1900 hours, Station 3 ~ Chincoteague VFC
   
  This class will review patient care topics specific to the pediatric population and will include both lecture and hands-on skills focusing on the care of children.  Since this is a "Rush" class, anything is possible! Be prepared to learn and maybe even laugh a little!

  This class is a combination lecture/hands-on workshop which will include an overview of the TEMS protocols for Cardiac Arrest Management and Post-Resuscitation Care with an emphasis on quality CPR, prompt defibrillation and appropriate pharmacological interventions. Following a short lecture, attendees will work through several "hands on" megacode-like scenarios sure to challenge even the  Come on out for a good time, you never know, Santa himself may be on hand to brush up on his skills!
